I loathe poor-me teachers!

I loathe their poor-me attitude, poor little victims with 2 months free each year, decent pensions, and if they are lazy, the same lessons just repeated every year. As for teaching Shakespeare, many rely on translations. How stupid can one be and still be hired as a teacher? Translating our greatest dramatist? Why not vacuum him as I have done, as everyone who directs one of his plays does? Why not then practice him as professional actors do?

Then I guess the problem is they are not good listeners, can’t hear thought or the lack of it, have no idea how to improve the oral communication skills of their students, don’t understand the concept of practice. They have given into the almighty cell-phone, as if any skills besides pushing buttons comes from such activities. If your students cannot read or speak they will never be leaders of any kind, in any profession. They might even turn out to be maga-morons.

Stop whining, supposed teachers of Shakespeare, and read, or listen to, my website. Do some homework yourselves! Learn that which you do not know. For heaven’s sake, stop boring your students. If you are severely talent-challenged, look to your students; surely some are more talented than you. Encourage them to perform. At 27 my son testified for Microsoft for 45 minutes in a $115,000,000 lawsuit. Sure he knew the technology in question, but mostly he had been trained by me on Shakespearean speeches. His vocabulary and oral communication skills made his future limitless. My daughter is also a University of Waterloo Engineer, but works for Climate Change in Ottawa. I assume she is helping save us all. She is also a brilliant Shakespeare-trained student. She learned it all from me. Your students can learn from this website, if you learn first!!!
